How we look after your information.
The short version: we use the details you send us only to prepare your quote and get in touch. We never sell your data, and we never share it for marketing.

Who we are
Future Power Team Ltd (company no. 12140129) is the data controller for the personal information collected on this website. Our registered office is 2 Beaconsfield Court, Garforth, Leeds LS25 1QH. You can reach us on 0113 465 5000 or at info@futurepowerteam.co.uk.
What we collect and why
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the details you give us: typically your name, postcode, phone number, email address and what you're interested in. We use them to:
- respond to your enquiry and arrange your free survey;
- prepare and send your quotation;
- carry out the work if you go ahead, including MCS certification, DNO applications and warranty registration, which legally require your name and address.
Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. If you phone us, we may keep a note of the call for the same purposes.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of trusted services to run this website and handle enquiries. Each acts as a processor on our instructions:
- Formspree delivers your form submission to our inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts and serves this website.
- If you go ahead with an installation, we share the details needed for certification and warranties with the relevant bodies (for example MCS, your DNO and the equipment manufacturer).
We never sell your information, and we never pass it to third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies and advertising measurement
This website does not use analytics or tracking cookies by default. If you arrive from one of our adverts, we may ask for your consent to set a cookie that tells us the advert worked (for example Google Ads conversion measurement). If you say no, the site works exactly the same. We do not use cookies to build profiles or follow you around the web.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details we no longer need are deleted. If you become a customer, we keep the records connected to your installation (quote, contract, certification, warranty) for as long as your warranties run and as required by law, typically six years from completion.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you (a subject access request);
- correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it;
- stop using it where we rely on legitimate interests;
- provide it to you in a portable format.
Email info@futurepowerteam.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
